Staff members of the institute have attended training courses and made scientific business trips to Germany, Israel, India, China, Hungary, USA, Russia, England, Finland, France, United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Egypt and Lebanon. Currently, 1 PhD student is studying in Germany and 2 - in Switzerland.

The institute has established collaboration with the following institutions:

•  American Institute of Hydrology, USA (1996).

•  Ostanbruke University, Germany (1998)

•  Vessex University, Greece, (2000)

The institute is open to collaboration with academic/scientific institutions, which have similar research interests.
